Sorry, this Friday Finish is a day late. I enjoyed speaking to a great audience of Phi Beta Lambda students in Pennsylvania, but the hotel internet was pretty spotty. I’m sitting at the Washington Dulles airport awaiting my flight home after a great week of working with awesome students. This week was a bit surreal with the speaking and travel. If you include layovers since Monday, I’ve been in:
Michigan-Illinois-Wisconsin-Illinois-Arizona-Texas-Nebraska-Colorado-Virginia-Maryland-Pennyslvania-Maryland-Virginia and now I have a quick layover in Los Angeles before my flight home. The travel was crazy, but the audiences were awesome! Thanks for allowing me the chance to still call this my job.

Paleo Update
This week I had my biggest violations thus far due to some of my travel and places closing down early. It’s sad to think about how difficult it can be to just get vegetables after 9pm. I had to do some fast food and did eat a hamburger this week and even ate ice cream the other night during an ice cream social in Pennsylvania (as I missed dinner and restaurants were already closed). I could really feel the difference after eating the “non-Paleo” food. It definitely affected me. I will never be 100% Paleo, but I must admit I do like how I feel when I’m following the diet fairly strictly.
