I did some laundry today.
It took some time, but it was pretty easy.
Add detergent to the washer. Add clothes. Press start.
Return later. Add clothes to dryer. Add dryer sheet. Press start.
Remove. Hang or Fold.
Done.
This is a lot easier than laundry 100 years ago. I can’t imagine what it was like when you had to heat the water, scrub your own clothes, hang them to dry (especially in poor weather conditions).
Yeah, I had it easy today.
Too bad the rest of our lives aren’t as easy.
There is not quick machine and a simple start button.
It takes energy and effort.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s blog, I had been slacking on some of my effort recently.
Time for that to stop.
Yep, there is no simple machine, but I’m down to put in the work to make my life awesome like neatly folded clean laundry.
